Remove the brick foundation wall at the front of the unit. <br />Use a brick saw to cut a straight line at the front left corner. <br />The foundation shall be removed to below ground level. <br />Add soil to level the grade at the exposed wall area. <br />Seed & straw the exposed soil. All brick & debris shall be <br />hauled to the landfill. <br />2. Install a treated crawlspace door & frame located at the front right <br />corner. Install a pressure treated 2x6 frame & 3/4 inch pressure <br />treated plywood. Install galvanized hinges & locking hasp. <br />3. Trim all brush to ground level at the front of the unit. Remove <br />all cut brush. Hand-rake the area to loosen the soil. Seed & straw <br />the exposed area. <br />4. Install a 5' x 5' front porch & steps. All wood shall be pressure <br />treated lumber. Install the porch floor tight against the door <br />threshold. Use 5/4 decking for the porch floor. Install a 2x10 outer <br />band. Install a 36" railing around the porch. Install handrails on <br />both sides of the steps. Install 2x2 pickets placed 4" apart on the <br />guardrail & handrail. All porch work shall meet the NC Building <br />Codes for Porches & Decks. <br />5. Remove ALL existing wood framing located near the back door. <br />Install a 5' x 5' treated landing level with the door threshold. <br />Install a 42" wide ramp leading to the driveway. The ramp slope <br />shall be a 1/12. The porch & ramp floor surface shall be 5/4 treated <br />decking. Install railings around the landing & ramp. All work <br />shall meet the NC Residential Codes for Porches & Ramps. <br />6. Remove one truck load ofhome-owner trash & debris. Remove <br />all appliances & debris from the yard. The truck size shall be <br />1 ton minimum. <br />
