The Department on Aging has received the following additional funds: <br />• Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) -receipt of $1,776 in additjonal federal <br />funds awarded by the Corporation for National and Community Service to pay for <br />additional hours worked by the administrative assistant (.50 FTE) position during the <br />grant preparation process; and receipt of $8,900 from individuals and business <br />sponsor tables to help offset the costs of the annual RSVP Recognition Luncheon. <br />• Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program - $800 in VITA tax services <br />fees and donations to cover costs for office supplies and mileage reimbursements <br />for volunteers. <br />This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these funds for the above mentioned <br />purposes. (See Attachment 1, Column 1) <br />
