I ~I <br />i• <br />I• <br />i• <br />of Person County is designated the manager to -whom the Advisory <br />Committee reports from May 1 to August 31 of each calendar year for <br />the duration of this Agreement. The County Manager of Chatham County <br />is designated the manager to whom the Advisory Committee reports from <br />September 1 to December 31 of each calendar year for the duration of <br />this Agreement.. <br />14. CONSUMER AND FAMILY ADVISORY COMMITTEE (CFAC) <br />The LME will facilitate the formation of a CFAC and provide the <br />CFAC an active role as an advisor to the LME on local plans, service <br />budgets, service eligibility, service array, gaps in service, <br />underserved populations, development of additional services, <br />monitoring of service development, monitoring of service delivery, and <br />quality improvement activities, including tracking and reporting on <br />outcome measures and performance indicators. <br />15. APPOINTMENT OF LME PROGRAM DIRECTOR <br />The Governing Board shall appoint a Program Director of the LME. <br />The Program Director appointed must meet the following -minimum <br />qualifications: (a) masters degree, (b) related experience and (c) <br />management experience. The Program Director shall be charged with the <br />obligation to carry out the provisions of N.C.G.S. §122C-111, to <br />administer the programs of the LME and to enforce applicable state <br />laws, rules of the Commission and rules of the Secretary and to any of <br />the duties and responsibilities set-forth in this .Agreement. <br />The Program Director shall serve at the pleasure of the Governing <br />Board. The Governing Board shall be responsible for setting the <br />compensation of the Program Director. <br />-11- <br />
