This is due in large part to having no water or sewer infrastructure available to support development. Design and ultimately construction of water <br />and sewer infrastructure in this EDD will remove one of the barriers to development in the area. Design of water and sewer infrastructure to serve the Phase II <br />portion of the Buckhorn- Mebane EDD is currently underway. The Phase II portion is generally the land that is bounded by Buckhorn Road to the west, <br />Gravelly Hill Middle School to the east, the Interstates 40/85 to the north and West Ten Road to the south. This project is an estimate of the construction costs <br />for water and sewer extensions to serve this Phase II area described above. This project includes approximately 20,000 linear feet of sewer force main, 8000 <br />linear feet of 10" gravity sewer line, 11,000 linear feet of 16" water main and an upgrade to the existing pump station located near the Gravelly Hill Middle <br />School. <br />• • • 42 <br />
