The top part of Exhibit 13 indicates that 25.8 percent of the square miles of the County are within two miles of a fire station and 39.5 percent of street miles are within two miles of one of the County's fire stations. The bottom part of the exhibit is cumulative and totals the area covered within the distance increments. For example, 77.3 percent of the area of the County and 82.8 percent of the street miles in the County are within four miles of a fire station. Approximately 98.5 percent of the County streets are within six miles of a fire station.
