• Go to Menu Bar/Utihties. Select Update Local Tables. Click OK. <br />45. Batch - calculate the Jurisdiction and then recalculate flagged accounts only. <br />• From the Process Menu select Background Jobs <br />• When the Batch Processing screen opens click on the Calculate button. <br />• A prompt box will appear telling you how many accounts will be processed <br />• Click ok (the process will take a while to complete) <br />• When the process has completed, click ok to the prompt box that appears. <br />• Click on the check box labeled "Flagged Accounts Only" <br />• Click the Calculate button again, there should be no accounts to be calculated. If there is, then the process did not <br />calculate the first time. <br />46. Update and create an LA4. (Massachusetts Report Only) <br />• Open the Report Engine, (from either main menu or from the toolbar — paper with squiggly lines) <br />• Select Real Estate /State Reports/MA Reports/Assessment Classification (LA4) <br />• Highlight this report, (a description and instructions will appear to the right). <br />• Click the Utilities button (hammer and wrench) <br />• When the screen opens, double click on LA4. <br />• Select a fiscal year (ex. 2000), <br />• Click the update button (traffic light) <br />• A prompt box will appear stating what data source will be used, verify that it matches the database you are in, and <br />click yes. <br />• The update function will begin, when it is done, a "Transfer Complete" box will appear. Click ok. <br />• Click the Close button, then click the Exit button to go back to the Report Engine. <br />• Print the LA4, using the printer icon <br />47. Print an LA2. (Massachusetts Report Only) <br />• While still in the Report Engine, select Real Estate /State Reports/MA Reports/Classification Totals (LA2) <br />• Highlight this report, a description will appear to the right. <br />• Print this report using the printer icon. <br />• Make sure that the totals match the LA4 <br />48. Print the Land use Summary report and make sure values match the LA4 and the LA2 <br />• While in the report engine, select Real Estate/Land Section Reports/Land Use Summary <br />• Highlight this report, a description will appear to the right. <br />• Print this report using the printer icon. <br />• Make sure that the totals match the above two reports. <br />49. Run a Standard Appraisal File Transfer Extract <br />• Go to Report Engine <br />• Select Extract Folder /Real Estate /Common Extracts/Standard File Transfer (w/LcgalDesc, PrcI1D) <br />• Click on Extract Button. <br />• Select text radio - button. Click OK. <br />• Change the name of the output file to the Jurisdiction and date.txt (ex. Haverhillfeb 14.txt), and click on Save. <br />• Say Yes when asked if you want to retrieve current data. <br />• It doesn't matter if you select A or F. <br />• Click on OK on the c/o owner sale date without entering any data. <br />• Select the current fiscal year. <br />• Select FV as the previous year category. <br />• When prompted to select a type of file extract select file transfer. The extract takes a while to run.
