Discovery Phase with Orange County — AMCAD Interface
Will they require any auditing for this process? If that
is the case we will need an audit table that goes in hand
with the staging table. Plus a procedure to read data out of
it and display in AssessPro? How many records a day are
they expecting to process? Does this need to be both
interactive and batch processing ?As long as we have the UI
and/or report to look at the data and make changes before it
is pushed that is all we need. The audit trail will be once it
_ ------ __._.`___. ___Y__ is in AssassPro._So the only form _of andztingrequired in_._.
the interface will be what data is in the staging table and i
this will be in the form of a report. Yes
Budget Estimate: 124 fours of programming at $125.00/hr--$15,500
24 hours of testing at $125.00/hr= $3,000
Total cost of modif cation= $18,500.00
Discovery Action Items: 1. Will we be matching on the PIN number? Yes
5. How often are we pushing this data into PIN History?
Once the issue is resolved in the AMCAD system, it
needs to be pushed over. Upon pushing over the data
we will delete successful transactions. Leaving only
bad data behind for them to fix.
7. Are the fields listed above correct? Does the County
even want to pull over the First Legal if they are always
making changes to it? Yes, the fields listed above are
correct. We still want the First Legal to be pulled over
in spite of having to make changes to it. Need to notify
or report periodically back to AMCAD with the
changes that have been made.
8. How do we handle pins not in AssessPro? For example
when we do parcel splits will the pin number be setup
ahead of time? Will they need a report for no match
pin conditions ?Pin Numbers will be assigned in another
process it has nothing to do with AMCAD. They assign.
the PINS in GIS. Will they need a report for no
watch ?At this point they should all match. A PIN has to
be assigned in Orange before anything can be done.
9. What is AMCAD schema changes in a year or so will
we be looking at this again? We don't know if they
will change. It has not in a long time and they don't
intend it to. IF AMCAD schema changes in the future
this will be an additional change request and a new
estimate will be needed. Yes, it will be a change order.
October 7, 2008
Version 1.0
