i"iS <br />External Interface Requirement Specification <br />Land Records <br />Description <br />Real property is maintained in a separate LR system from NCPTS B&C. In <br />order to have a consolidated view of assessment records for all property types, <br />and to combine properties at the same situs address on a single abstract, real <br />property data needs to be transmitted from the separate LR system into <br />NCPTS B &C on a regular basis. <br />To accomplish this, a nightly process identifies changes made to real property <br />in the separate LR system, and transmits those changes for update in NCPTS. <br />The process consists of. (a) an extract from the separate LR system, and (b) an <br />upload and update to NCPTS. <br />The types of change include- <br />0 Splits and combinations <br />• Transfers of ownership resulting from splits, combinations, and <br />straight transfers <br />•. Situs address changes <br />• Ownership information changes (including mailing address changes) <br />• Value changes, including changes to land use and historic use value <br />• Exempt information changes <br />• Solid waste changes <br />• Other administrative (i.e. non - value) changes, including corrections <br />and updates to deed, account, and zoning information <br />This specification describes the expected. extract file content, and the upload <br />and update process in NCPTS. <br />Flow of events <br />1.2.1 Basic Flow: <br />1.
