The Owner <br />shall pay directly for the cost of reproduction or shall reimburse the Architect for such <br />expenses. <br />2.5.5.3 If requested by the Owner, the Architect shall organize and participate in <br />selection interviews with prospective contractors. <br />2.5.5.4 The Architect shall consider requests for substitutions, if permitted by the <br />Proposal Documents, and shall prepare and distribute addenda identifying approved <br />substitutions to all prospective contractors. <br />2.5.5.5 If requested by the Owner, the Architect shall assist the Owner during <br />negotiations with prospective contractors. The Architect shall subsequently prepare a <br />summary report of the negotiation results, as directed by the Owner. <br />ARTICLE 2.6 CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION SERVICES <br />2.6.1 GENERAL ADMINISTRATION <br />2.6.1.1 'The Architect shall provide administration of the Contract between the Owner <br />and the Contractor as set forth below and in the edition of AIA Document A201, General <br />Conditions of the Contract for Construction, current as of the date of this Agreement. <br />Modifications made to the General Conditions, when adopted as part of the Contract <br />Documents, shall be enforceable under this Agreement only to the extent that they are / <br />consistent with this Agreement or approved in writing by the Architect. ~ <br />~ <br />~ <br />.~ <br />2.6.1.2 The Architect's responsibility to provide the Contract Administration Services _ <br />. <br />~~,:~: <br />under this Agreement commences with the award of the initial Contract for Construction <br />and terminates at the issuance to the Owner of the fmal Certificate for Payment.
