Harvey, Planner lll, 245 -2597 <br />PURPOSE: To hold a public hearing to receive comment on the proposed Unified <br />Development Ordinance (UDO). <br />BACKGROUND: At the August 24, 2009 BOCC meeting, staff was authorized to: <br />• Develop a UDO that combines all existing land development regulations into one <br />document, using the existing language wherever possible; <br />• Correct any identified inconsistencies that exist within the individual regulatory standards; <br />• Update the following sections of the Zoning Ordinance: Article 9 - Signage, Article 10 - <br />Parking, Article 12 - Landscaping, and Article 6 — Dimensional Requirements including, <br />but not limited to: Section 6.31 Lighting and Section 6.27.11 Stream Buffers; <br />• Revise existing subdivision regulations to incorporate recent changes to State law and <br />eliminate identified inconsistencies; <br />Develop a Conditional Use /Conditional Zoning District process; <br />• Update existing graphics and tables detailing development standards; and <br />
