Whitted Human Services Center <br />Capital Project Ordinance <br />oG~~ r a~~ 5/-adz <br />-d2~- Zod y <br />5~ <br />Be it ordained by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners that pursuant to Section <br />13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the following capital project is <br />hereby adopted. <br />Section 1.The project authorized provides funds for major renovations and parking <br />improvements at the Richard E. Whitted Human Services Center. Financing for this <br />project includes proceeds from the County's portion of the one half cent sales <br />taxes, a Department of Social Services State grant and a portion of the two-thirds <br />net debt reduction bond issued in May 2000. <br />Section 2.The officers of the County are hereby directed to proceed with the project within the <br />budget contained herein. <br />Section 3.The following revenue is anticipated to complete this project: <br /> Through FY 2003 <br />04 <br />FY 2004-OS Through FY <br />2004-OS <br />Sales Tax $100,000 $0 $100,000 <br />2004 Two-Thirds Net <br />Debt <br />$2,745,000 <br />$475,000 <br />$3,220,000 <br />Private Placement $0 $0 $0 <br />Grant Funds $0 $0 $0 <br />Other $0 $0 $0 <br />Total Fundin $2,845,000 $475,000 $3,320,000 <br />Section 4.The following amount remains appropriated for this project: <br /> Through FY 2003 <br />04 <br />FY 2004-OS Through FY <br />2004-05 <br />LandBuilding $0 $0 $0 <br />Design $191,284 $0 $191,284 <br />Construction $2,602,716 $475,000 $3,077,716 <br />Other $51,000 $0 $51,000 <br />Total Costs $2,845,000 $475,000 $3,320,000 <br />Section 6.This ordinance supersedes all previous Whiffed Human Services Center Capital <br />Project Ordinances. <br />.Section 7. This ordinance shall remain in effect from July 1, 1998 until June 30, 2005. <br />Adopted this 23rd day of June, 2004. <br />
