Justice Facility Planning Project <br />Capital Project Ordinance <br />d~FJ-~va~-p~9 <br />~-a3-o~ <br />~y <br />Be it ordained by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners that pursuant to <br />Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the following <br />capital project is hereby adopted. <br />Sect'lon 1.The project authorized will provide funds to begin a master planning process <br />for relieving overcrowded conditions in the Courthouse. Proceeds from the <br />County's portion of the one-half cent sales taxes finance this project. <br />Section 2.The officers of the County are hereby directed to proceed with the project <br />within the budget contained herein. <br />Section 3.The following revenue is anticipated to complete this project: <br /> Through FY <br />2003-04 <br />FY 2004-05 Through FY <br />2004-OS <br />Sales Tax $330,000 $0 $330,000 <br />Bond Funds $0 $0 $0 <br />2004 Two-Thirds Net Debt $0 $0 $0 <br />Non-Bond Debt Funding $0 $230,000 $230,000 <br />Fees $0 $0 $0 <br />Other $0 $0 $0 <br />Total Fundin $330,000 $230,000 $560,000 <br />Section 4.The following amount is appropriated for this project: <br /> Through FY <br />2003-04 <br />FY 2004-OS Through FY <br />2004-05 . <br />Land/Buildin $0 $0 $0 <br />Desi $330,000 $230,000 $560,000 <br />Construction $0 $0 $0 <br />Other $0 $0 $0 <br />Total Costs $330,000 $230,000 $560,000 <br />Section 5.This ordinance supersedes previous Criminal Justice Facility Capital Project <br />Ordinances for Orange County. <br />Section 6.This ordinance, originally adopted September 17, 1997, .shall be in effect <br />until June 30, 2005. <br />Adopted this 23rd day of June 2004. <br />
