Resolution of Intent to Adopt the 2004-05 Orange County Budget <br />Resolution of Intent to Adopt the 2004-05 ,~~5-~d~°'~~ <br />Orange County Budget ~ r ~`3 y ~ ~ <br />The items outlined below summarize decisions that fhe Board acted upon Monday, June 29, 2004 <br />in approving the 2004-05 Budget. <br />WHEREAS, the Orange County Board of Commissioners has considered the Orange County <br />2004-05 Manager's Recommended Budget; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commissioners have agreed on certain modifications to the Manager's <br />Recommended Budget; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE 1T RESOLVED, that the .Orange County Board of Commissioners <br />expresses its intent to adopt the 2004-05 Orange County Budget Ordinance on Wednesday, June <br />23, 2004, based on the following stipulations: <br />1) The following additions of new positions and/or changes to existing positions, as presented <br />in the 2004-05 County Manager's Recommended Budget on May 20, 2004, are <br />approved: <br />• Cooperative Extension- Community Health Aide 1.00 FTE <br /> Breasffeedin Pro ram -Effective Jul 1, 2004 <br />• Cooperative Extension -Program Assistant (Expanded Food 2 .00 FTE <br /> and Nutrition Education Pro ram ~- Effective Jul 1, 2004 <br />• Emergency Medical Services -EMT -Basic -Effective 8.00 FTE <br /> Janua 1, 2005 <br />• Finance -Accounting Technician -Effective July 1, 2004 .25 FTE <br />• .Health Department -Billing/Accounting Technician I - 1.00 FTE <br /> Effective Jul 1, 2004 <br />• Health Department -Dental Assistant -Effective October 1, 1.00 FTE <br /> 2004 <br />• Health Department -Social Worker III -Effective July 1, .50 FTE <br /> 2004 <br />• Economic Development -Agricultural Economic Development (.50) FTE <br /> Coordinator Loss ofA&T Grant Fundin <br />• Family Nurse Practitioner -Effective July 1, 2004 .50 FTE <br />• Recreation and Parks -Parks Conservation Technician (Liftle 1.00 FTE <br /> River Park) -Effective July 1, 2004 <br />• Social Services -Income Maintenance Caseworker II (time 1.00 FTE <br /> limited 2 years from hire date) -Effective October 1, 2004 <br />• Social Services -Income Maintenance Caseworker I II (time 1.00 FTE <br /> limited 2 years from hire date) -Effective July 1, 2004 - <br />• Social Services -Social Worker-Effective October 1, 2004 1.00 FTE <br />• Tax Collector -Revenue Technician II (" 3R Fee Coordinator) - 1.00 FTE <br /> Effective Jul 1, 2004 <br />Page 1 of 5 <br />
