Resolution of Intent to Adopt the 2004 -05 Orange County Budget <br />Resolution of Intent to Adopt the 2004 -05 <br />Orange County Budget <br />The items outlined below summarize decisions that the Board acted upon Monday, June 21, 2004 5� <br />in approving the 2004 -05 Budget. <br />WHEREAS, the Orange County Board of Commissioners has considered the Orange County <br />2004 -05 Manager's Recommended Budget; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commissioners have agreed on certain modifications to the Manager's <br />Recommended Budget; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE lT RESOLVED, that the Orange County Board of Commissioners <br />expresses its intent to adopt the 2004 -05 Orange County Budget Ordinance on Wednesday, June <br />23, 2004, based on the following stipulations: <br />1) The following additions of new positions and /or changes to existing positions, as presented <br />in the 2004 -05 County Manager's Recommended Budget on May 20, 2004, are <br />approved: <br />• <br />Cooperative Extension - Community Health Aide <br />1.00 FTE <br />Breastfeedin Program) — Effective July 1, 2004 <br />• <br />Cooperative Extension — Program Assistant (Expanded Food <br />2 .00 FTE <br />and Nutrition Education Program).- Effective July 1, 2004 <br />• <br />Emergency Medical Services — EMT — Basic — Effective <br />8.00 FTE <br />January 1, 2005 <br />• <br />Finance — Accounting Technician — Effective July 1, 2004 <br />.25 FTE <br />• <br />Health Department — Billing /Accounting Technician I — <br />1.00 FTE <br />Effective July 1, 2004 <br />• <br />Health Department — Dental Assistant — Effective October 1, <br />1.00 FTE <br />2004 <br />• <br />Health Department — Social Worker III — Effective July 1, <br />.50 FTE <br />2004 <br />• <br />Economic Development — Agricultural Economic Development <br />(.50) FTE <br />Coordinator Loss ofA &T Grant Funding) <br />• <br />Family Nurse Practitioner — Effective July 1, 2004 <br />.50 FTE <br />• <br />Recreation and Parks — Parks Conservation Technician (Little <br />1.00 FTE <br />River Park) — Effective July 1, 2004 <br />• <br />Social Services — Income Maintenance Caseworker II (time <br />1.00 FTE <br />limited 2 years from hire date) — Effective October 1, 2004 <br />• <br />Social Services — Income Maintenance Caseworker III (time <br />1.00 FTE <br />limited 2 years from hire date) — Effective July 1, 2004 <br />• <br />Social Services - Social Worker — Effective October 1, 2004 <br />1.00 FTE <br />• <br />Tax Collector — Revenue Technician I I ( "3R Fee Coordinator) - <br />1.00 FTE <br />Effective July 1, 2004 <br />Page 1 of 5 <br />
