The Chief of SORS shall serve as the administrative contact point for the <br />squad. <br />i. Following any change of command the name of the replacement shall <br />be provided in writing to the Director within twenty-fours. <br />ii. A notice of personnel change within the officer ranks, including board <br />members shall. be communicated in writing to the Director within <br />twenty-four hours following any change of personnel within the officer <br />ranks or board members. <br />c. Personnel. No personnel will be released for field operations without approval <br />in writing from the Director or his designee. <br />i. All squad members shall comply with the County's "Credentialing and <br />Compliance" standard operating guideline administered by the OCES <br />EMS Operations Manager under the direction of the County Medical <br />Director. <br />ii. Following successful completion of the OCES System Credentialing <br />application process the Director will verify a roster of approved <br />personnel to the Chief of the Squad and OCES EMS Operations <br />Manager to be added to the credentialed database of practitioners. <br />d. Training. The Orange County Emergency Medical Services Training Officer <br />will approve, prior to deliveay of EMS in-service or continuing training related <br />to rece~-tifica#ian, the content of the course. <br />i. Rosters with a completed verification statement provided by OCES <br />will be transmitted to the OC EMS Training Officer na more than 48 <br />hours following delivery of the class. <br />ii. Only instructors approved by OCES will deliver in-service training. <br />iii. Guest instructors may deliver training upon approval of OCES. <br />e. Scheduling. A schedule of time seiwed by squad members shall be recorded <br />and submitted the OCES EMS Operations Manager monthly on forms <br />supplied by the County for the purposes of invoicing and compliance <br />monitoring. The submissions shall reflect all special events, deployments, <br />callouts; emergency and/or non-emergency events provided within the State of <br />North Carolina. <br />Page 3 of 6 <br />
