13 <br />RES - 2011 - O10 <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br />ORANGE COUNTY <br />RESOLUTION REGARDING <br />LEGISLATIVE MATTER <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Orange County that the Board hereby requests, because Orange <br />County has adopted a Code of Ethics regulating the conduct of <br />its Board of Commissioners and because the Code of Ethics <br />contains substantially similar disclosure requirements as an <br />existing Local Act,. the Senator and Representatives representing <br />Orange County to introduce and support the following legislative <br />matter: <br />1. AN ACT TO REPEAL TITLE VII OF SESSION LAW 1987-460 <br />REGARDING THE DISCLOSURE OBLIGATIONS OF THE <br />COMMISSIONERS OF THE ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF <br />COMMISSIONERS (Exhibit A). <br />Upon motion of Commissioner ~ seconded by <br />Commissioner the foregoing resolution was adopted <br />this the 1St day of February, 2011. <br />I, Donna Baker, Clerk to the Board of Commissioners for the <br />County of Orange, North Carolina, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that the <br />foregoing is a true copy of so much of the proceedings of said <br />Board at a meeting held on February 1, 2011 as relates in any <br />
