Gordon, Barry Jacobs, Pam Hemminger, Earl McKee, and Steve <br /> Yuhasz <br /> COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: <br /> COUNTY ATTORNEYS PRESENT: John Roberts <br /> COUNTY STAFF PRESENT County Manager Frank Clifton, Assistant County Managers <br /> Willie Best and Gwen Harvey, and Clerk to the Board Donna S. Baker (All other staff members <br /> will be identified appropriately below) <br /> NOTE: ALL DOCUMENTS REFERRED TO IN THESE MINUTES ARE IN THE PERMANENT <br /> AGENDA FILE IN THE CLERK'S OFFICE. <br /> 1. Additions or Changes to the Agenda <br /> Chair Pelissier went through the items at the County Commissioners' places: <br /> - Lavender— document that goes with item 7-b —Approval of Health Department <br /> Expansion within Whitted Human Services Building and Approval of Budget <br /> Amendment#5-B (questions and responses that will be put in the record) <br /> - Aqua —for item 6-a — Orange-Alamance Boundary Line Adjustment Action <br /> The Chair asked to add a closed session: <br /> Pursuant to NCGS 143-318.11 11(a)(3): " to consult with an attorney retained by the <br /> Board in order to preserve the attorney-client privilege between the attorney and the <br /> Board." <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Hemminger, seconded by Commissioner Yuhasz <br /> to add the closed session as stated above. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> PUBLIC CHARGE <br /> The Chair dispensed with the reading of the public charge. <br /> 2. Public Comments <br /> a. Matters not on the Printed Agenda <br /> Erin Martin was from the Friends of Bolin Creek, which is a non-profit organization that <br /> is committed to conserving and protecting the Bolin Creek Watershed since 2003. The goal <br /> now is to promote cost-effective, long-term solutions to enhance the environmental, <br /> recreational, and economic value of this unique North Carolina natural resource.
