Proposed Legal Advertisement <br />INFORMATION CONTACT: <br />Craig Benedict, Planning Director, <br />245- 2592 <br />Perdita Holtz, Planning Systems <br />Coordinator, 245-2578 <br />PURPOSE: To consider the legal advertisement for items to be presented at the joint Board of <br />County Commissioners/Planning Board Quarterly Public Hearing scheduled for February 28, <br />2011. <br />BACKGROUND: The Board of County Commissioners reviews proposals to be considered at <br />public hearing for consistency with general County policy and presentation format. The following <br />items are scheduled for the February 28, 2011 Quarterly Public Hearing: <br />1. Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) - continuation of November 22, 2010 public <br />hearing. <br />2. Master Telecommunications Plan Map <br />3. Zoning Ordinance or UDO Text Amendment to add a permitted use (limited motor <br />vehicle sales and rentals) to the Neighborhood Commerical-2 (NC-2) zoning district <br />The attached legal advertisement provides additional information regarding these items. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: Other than advertising costs, which are included in the FY 2010-11 <br />Budget, there are no direct financial impacts associated with the approval of this item. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board approve the proposed <br />February 28, 2011 Quarterly Public Hearing legal advertisement. <br />
