List of Specific Tasks, Events, or Functions Performed or Sponsored Annually. <br />Transportation Improvement Proagram (TIP) is a recurring two -year <br />process: <br />• First year = develop priority list of projects to request in TIP for <br />BOCC approval. <br />• Second year — recommend comments regarding draft TIP for BOCC <br />approval to submit to NCDOT during public comment period. <br />Durham - Chapel Hill - Carrboro (DCHC) Metropolitan Planning Organization <br />(MPO) Long -Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) for Air Quality Conformity <br />is federally mandated, and involves a recurring 4 -year cycle of tasks to <br />update the plan to ensure air quality goals are met. <br />The OUTBoard is involved with the review and comment for Orange <br />County's part in the development of regional long -range transportation <br />plans and air quality conformity analyses (socio- economic data, deficiency <br />analysis, land use analysis, transportation alternatives development and <br />analysis, and development of vision plan.) <br />Describe this board /commission's activities /accomplishments in carrying out <br />BOCC goal(s) /priorities, if applicable. <br />Accomplishments 1 and 3 (oversight of ongoing development of a <br />Comprehensive Transportation Plan the Safe Routes to School Action <br />Plan) relate to BOCC Goal Three (Implement planning and economic <br />development policies which create a balanced, dynamic local economy, <br />and which promote diversity, sustainable growth and enhanced revenue <br />while embracing community values), Priority 20: Support transit, <br />pedestrian, and bicycle facilities and other alternatives to the single <br />passenger automobile. <br />If your board /commission played the role of an Element Lead Advisory Board <br />involved in the 2030 Comprehensive Plan preparation process, please indicate <br />your board's activities /accomplishments as they may relate to the <br />Comprehensive Plan's goals or objectives. <br />(The Element Lead Advisory Boards include: Planning Board, EDC, OUTBoard, <br />Commission for the Environment, Historic Preservation Commission, Agriculture <br />Preservation Board, Affordable Housing Board, Recreation and Parks Advisory <br />Council) <br />Accomplishments 1 and 3 (oversight of ongoing development of a <br />Comprehensive Transportation Plan the Safe Routes to School Action Plan <br />are directly related to Comprehensive Plan Transportation Element Goal 3 <br />Obiective T -3 -2 : Create and implement an Orange County Comprehensive <br />
