3) Design Standards for Efland Core Mixed Use area - The Efland- Mebane SAP Implementation Focus Group reconvened in February and March of 2010 to begin the development of design guidelines for the proposed mixed -use area of the Efland core, consistent with the recommendations in the Efland- Mebane Small Area Plan. Further meetings were put on hold for Planning Staff to focus on the development and adoption of the LIDO. Staff plans to present draft guidelines for discussion by the implementation focus group in early 2011. All of the above items are reviewed by staff within the Comprehensive Plan framework of sustainability. Therein balancing the aspects of the: Economy Environment Public Infrastructure and Transportation; and Social Equity context.
