This Commission is additionally <br />charged with providing guidance and a forum for public comments on National Register <br />Nominations and administering the Local Landmark Program as outlined in the Certified Local <br />Government Program. <br />What are your Board /Commission's most important accomplishments? <br />• Preparation of the Cultural Resources Chapter of the 2030 Comprehensive Plan (2008) <br />• Preparation of Design Standards for Orange County Local Landmarks and Local Historic <br />Districts (2010) <br />• Support of the stabilization of the historic building complexes at future park sites <br />• Preparation of recommendations for the Lands Legacy Action Plans <br />• Organization of a preservation summit in May of 2010 involving ten of the major <br />preservation organizations (historic commissions and non - profits) from Orange County <br />and its municipalities <br />HPC Reporting Form 2010 <br />-1- <br />
