List of Specific Tasks, Events, or Functions Performed or Sponsored Annually <br />Each year, the Affordable Housing Advisory Board in conjunction with the <br />Housing/CD staff prepares a fiscal year performance report in the form of a <br />calendar. <br />In addition, the Affordable Housing Advisory Board monitors the progress <br />of Affordable Housing Bond Program projects and provides the Board of <br />County Commissioners with an annual status report. <br />Describe this board /commission's activities /accomplishments in carrying out <br />BOCC goal(s), if applicable. <br />Please refer to accomplishments above. <br />If your board /commission played the role of an Element Lead Advisory Board <br />involved in the 2030 Comprehensive Plan preparation process, please indicate <br />your board's activities /accomplishments as they may relate to the <br />Comprehensive Plan's goals or objectives. <br />(The Element Lead Advisory Boards include: Planning Board, EDC, OUTBoard, <br />Commission for the Environment, Historic Preservation Commission, Agriculture <br />Preservation Board, Affordable Housing Board, Recreation and Parks Advisory <br />Council) <br />The Affordable Housing Advisory Board was very involved in the <br />development of the Housing Element and have thoroughly reviewed the <br />goals of the Housing Element of the Comprehensive Plan and reported on <br />agency accomplishments in support of these goals. In future years, the <br />Board would like to work more collaboratively with the Planning Board <br />when assessing progress. <br />Identify any activities this board /commission expects to carry out in 2011 as they <br />relate to established BOCC goals and priorities. <br />If applicable, is there a fiscal impact (i.e., funding, staff time, and other resources) <br />associated with these proposed activities (please list). <br />1. Mobile Home Park Revitalization * <br />• Funding will be required for initial set -up <br />• Project Manager would need to be hired to run the operation. <br />2. The Abandoned Mobile Home Program <br />3. Pursuing connections with the towns to insure inclusion in <br />discussions regarding affordable housing; <br />4. Building momentum for affordable housing in Northern Orange <br />County particularly for areas near transportation; <br />5. Advocating for another Housing Bond Program, local funding <br />resources, and other funding resources; and <br />
