Box 8181 <br />Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br />Dear Chair Foushee: <br />Subject: Board Appointment <br />At the November 9, 2010 meeting of the Advisory Board on Aging two applications for <br />membership were considered. The Advisory Board voted to recommend that Mr. Elijah <br />(Ed) Flowers, III be appointed to the position made vacant when Janice Wassel's second <br />term expired. on June 30 (position #6). <br />Mr. Flowers is retired from Duke University Hospital as a Senior Nuclear Medicine <br />Technologist. He serves on the Orange County Nursing Home Community Advisory <br />Committee, the Senior Care Board of Directors, and the Friends of the Orange County <br />Library. <br />Mr. Flowers has attended several Advisory Board meetings and has expressed interest in <br />becoming a member.
