Prime <br />the new wood with an oil based primer before the coil stock is <br />installed. <br />2. Wrap ALL fascias, eves & overhangs with smooth white coil stock. <br />Repair all damaged wood before the coil stock is installed. <br />Install vented soffit on all overhangs. Install solid soffit in the <br />gable overhangs. Install solid soffit on the front porch ceiling. <br />Prime all new wood with an oil based primer. <br />3. Install a pressure treated crawlspace door and frame. Install a 2x4 <br />frame and 3/aD7 treated plywood door. <br />Install galvanized hinges & locking hasp. <br />4. Install continuous aluminum gutters and downspouts. Install <br />splash blocks under each downspout. Install gutters on all fascias. <br />5. Remove the front porch floor. Repair 20 ft of damaged outer band. <br />Install treated lumber. All nails shall be galvanized. <br />6. Repair five (5) damaged floor joists on the front porch. Install <br />matching treated lumber. All nails shall be galvanized. <br />7. Install a new pressure treated front porch floor. Install 5/4 decking. <br />Rabbet the decking against the house to 3/a" so the decking will slide <br />under the aluminum siding. Install an approved non- corrosive <br />flashing where the decking meets the siding. <br />8. Install a 36" wood door on the front of the unit. Install the door on <br />the existing frame. Install new hinges, threshold and weather- <br />stripping. Install a keyed lockset & deadbolt keyed alike. Install a <br />wide door viewer. Consult the homeowner for the correct height. <br />Prime & paint the door with semi-gloss~latex paint. <br />
