<br />tive at as early date as practlcabl e. She th enked the Soerd for the many
<br />courtesies extended her durins her stay here and eteted that it took real
<br />courage for her to hand in her res ignet ion, out that she would like to ec-
<br />cept a position with Indiane University as it appeared to 'oe an opportunity i
<br />to serve Sn e broader capacity and 'pad promot S.onal possibilitie s•
<br />Upon motion, the Boerd unanimously accented isles 3yere resignation,
<br />effective September 10, 1945, and expr eased to her their apnreciatlon for
<br />the good vrork ehe had done in the County, and wished her much success in
<br />her new position.

<br />made vacant by the resignation of toss Byers, and after giving the Board
<br />a brief summary o£ her educational and practical euellf icati ors, left t_he
<br />room so that the Board could study her apnlicetlon.
