Box 8181 <br /> Hillsborough,NC 27278 <br /> Dear Chair Foushee: <br /> Subject: Board Appointment <br /> At the November 9, 2010 meeting of the Advisory Board on Aging two applications for <br /> membership were considered. The Advisory Board voted to recommend that Mr. <br /> Alexander Castro be appointed. With the transfer of Thelma Perkins to vacant position <br /> #11, Mr. Castro would be qualified for appointment to her former position (#7). <br /> Mr. Castro is retired from the US Navy. He has volunteered for the past eight years with <br /> the Orange County Habitat for Humanity as a carpenter and Spanish language interpreter <br /> and translator.
