The Advisory Board voted to recommend that Mr. Elijah <br /> (Ed) Flowers, III be appointed to the position made vacant when Janice Wassel's second <br /> term expired on June 30 (position#6). <br /> Mr. Flowers is retired from Duke University Hospital as a Senior Nuclear Medicine <br /> Technologist. He serves on the Orange County Nursing Home Community Advisory <br /> Committee, the Senior Care Board of Directors, and the Friends of the Orange County <br /> Library. <br /> Mr. Flowers has attended several Advisory Board meetings and has expressed interest in <br /> becoming a member.
