0 Orange High School Tennis Court Resurfacing Capital Project Ordinance Be it ordained by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners that pursuant to Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the following capital project is hereby adopted. Section 1. The project authorized provides funds to resurface eight full size tennis courts on the grounds of Orange High School. The County has had a long standing contractual arrangement for use of these courts by the public, which stipulates that the County will provide half of the funding required for capital repairs to the facility. The courts are in severe need of repair. These courts experience heavy use- by members of the public, both in formal, programmed settings as well as. informal use. They are the only tennis courts available for public use in northern Orange County. The Orange County School District has prioritized this project in the CIP request the have submitted. Pay -as- you -go funds will finance this project. Section 2. The officers of the County are hereby directed to proceed with the project within the budget contained herein. Section 3. The following revenue is anticipated to complete this project: Section 4.
