He said that there were considerable discussions about what part of that area <br /> to protect because of the mature hardwoods, and Hillsborough agreed not to put a meeting <br /> room there. <br /> David Stancil said that the wooded area is part of County property that ties into the <br /> public works. <br /> Commissioner Jacobs said that it would be useful to define what area is to be <br /> preserved and that should be part of the agreement to, "define, manage, and preserve the <br /> hardwood forest that is designated on the map at the southeastern corner of the Park Master <br /> Plan." <br /> Dave Stancil said that the intention is that this would remain wooded. Commissioner <br /> Jacobs would like to memorialize this area to make sure that it remains wooded. <br /> Commissioner Gordon asked more clarifying questions about the operating costs, <br /> which were answered by staff.
