The project, <br />which includes the analysis and design for extension of these utilities, is Phase II of a multi- <br />phased project to provide utilities to the entire Buckhorn-Mebane EDD. The portion of the <br />system constructed will function both as a stand-alone system and as part of future phases or <br />system extensions to serve the remainder of the Buckhorn-Mebane EDD. The systems will be <br />an extension of the City of Mebane water and wastewater utilities and, as such, will be subject <br />to the design standards and specifications established by the City of Mebane for its water and <br />wastewater utilities. <br />A Request for Proposals from qualified engineering firms was solicited.
