ON-THE-JOB TRAINING CONTRACT <br /> The Board considered a contract with the Economic Development <br /> Commission to provide for the overall development of the On-the-Job Training <br /> program which includes recruiting employers, conducting job assessments, <br /> facilitating job placements, and monitoring placements, subcontracts and <br /> participant progress at the work site. This program will be funded by a <br /> $32 , 500. grant from the State Division of Social Services. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Willhoit, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Halkiotis to approve and authorize the Chair to sign the On-the-Job Contract <br /> with the Economic Development Commission and to authorize the Economic <br /> Development Commission staff to contract, on behalf of Orange County, with <br /> subcontractors to accomplish the objectives of the JOBS Program. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> G.
