Prompted by tightened fiscal circumstances, increased <br />stewardship of public dollars, and accelerated desire for collaboration and coordination between <br />County departments and affiliated nonprofits, process improvements included: <br />• Expanding the role for applicable County operating departments and their associated <br />advisory boards in the technical review of Outside Agency funding applications (The <br />Human Services Advisory Commission, previously charged with facilitating volunteer <br />input from the community, was sunset in subsequent action by the BOCC in recognition <br />of increased involvement by the standing, statutory boards from Health, Social Services, <br />• OPC and the like.) <br />• Providing the BOCC with specific data on interrelationships between the County <br />operating departments and the Outside Agencies wherein the County pays for contracted <br />
