Each area in the office was <br />reviewed and documented. Detailed statistics were gathered and compared to <br />similar positions within the Clerk's office as well as positions with other counties. <br />Procedures were scrutinized for statutory compliance and compared to procedures <br />of other counties. The analysis resulted in over 50 recommendations in 16 areas. <br />After implementing the changes, the office's document return time decreased <br />dramatically. This was a very significant increase in customer service. <br />Additionally, Darrell continues to provide on -going consulting services to the Clerk's <br />office in the areas of technology upgrades and business continuity services. <br />Contact: Honorable Nancy Rister, County Clerk <br />710 Main Street <br />Georgetown, TX 78626 <br />(512) 943 -1515 <br />Dallas County Texas <br />County Clerk — Assessment, RFP Services <br />Dallas County selected Eichman Software Consultants to be part of a team to <br />provide Professional Services to Dallas County. The team is tasked with performing <br />a Business Process Analysis, development of a Request for Proposal, and <br />participation in the process of selecting a system. This is an ongoing project. <br />The engagement is divided into three phases. Phase I focused on a review of the <br />County Clerk's current business processes in the Recording Division (real property, <br />vital statistics, indexing). During the second phase, ESC assessed the technical <br />environment of the office and developed a request for proposal. The third phase <br />focuses on the system selection process.
