Triangle SportsPlex <br /> Capital Project Ordinance <br />PURPOSE: To approve budget ordinance and capital project ordinance amendments for <br />fiscal year 2004-05. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Department of Social Services <br />The Department of Social Services has received notification from the State of additional <br />funds for the current fiscal year for the following program: <br />a. Long Term Care Screening (EDS) - an additional State allocation of federal funds <br />totaling $11,084 will be used to enable low-income, minority individuals to defer or <br />prevent institutionalization by providing quality services. to meet basic needs. These <br />additional funds bring the current budget to $55,082. This budget amendment provides <br />for the receipt of these funds. (See Attachment 1, column #1) <br />2. The Department of Social Services has received the following donations from citizens that <br />are set-aside in a special Adoption Enhancement Fund: <br />
