Please fund enclosed,a letter from Ms.Donna <br /> Baker,Clerk to the Board of Orange County Commissioners,dated July.28,2010,stating <br /> among other things that,"Upon recommendation of the Orange Unified Transportation <br /> Board,based on your attendance at the OUT Board meetings,the Clerk of the Board of <br /> Commissioners is requesting that you submit your resignation from this board due to <br /> excessive absenteeism." <br /> According to your voicemail you wanted to know if I still wanted to attend meetings of <br /> the OUT Board. It appears that based on precedence set by you with former OUT Board <br /> members with like or similar absenteeism records as my"absenteeism-record,"your <br /> request is"moot"at best. As an employee of the Orange County Government you either <br /> knew or should have known that once you set a precedence for notice,you must apply <br /> that precedence of notice equitably and without disparity. For whatever reasons,you <br /> failed to apply your precedence of notice to my situation as you applied it to former OUT <br /> Board members with like or similar absenteeism records as mine. <br /> It is my intention to appeal the request for my resignation from the Clerk to the Board of <br /> County Commissioners to the Board of County Commissioners.
