DEPENDENCIES AMONG INTERMEDIATE <br />SANCTIONED OFFENDERS. <br />[EA5URING COMPLIANCE THROUGH ~ ` ' <br />REQUENT, RANDOM DRUG SCREENING, <br />CCESSING RELAPSES WHEN THEY OCCUR <br />HROUGH TREATMENT PLANNING AND <br />1DIVIDUALIZED TREATMENT GOALS: <br />(PTA PROGRAM) 40% OF OFFENDERS WILL <br />BECOME AND REMAIN TOTALLY ALCOHOL AND <br />DRUG FREE. 60% OF OFFENDERS WILL REMAIN <br />FREE OF ANY ILLICIT DRUGS. 50% OF <br />OFFENDERS WILL DRECREASE THEIR ALCOHOL <br />AND DRUG USE. <br />REDUCE RECIDIVISM BY INCREASING <br />PROSOCIAL FACTORS. <br />ROVIDE LIFE SKILLS SUPPORT, INCLUDING <br />'OCATIONAL (MAINTAIN EMPLOYMENT), <br />;DUCATIONAL (GED ACHIEVEMENT) AND <br />vCREASE FAMILY INVOLVEMENT AND <br />ARTICIPATION WITH CLIENT'S TREATMENT <br />LAN/GOALS. <br />(FH PROGRAM) PROVIDE COUNSELING AROUND <br />KEY ISSUES OF EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION, LIF] <br />SKILLS, AS MEASURED BY NC TOPPS OUTCOME <br />ASSESSMENT INSTRUMENT AND GLOBAL <br />ASSESSMENT OF FUNCTIONING (GAF). <br />(PTA PROGRAM) 80% OF OFFENDERS WILL <br />BECOME AND REMAIN EMPLOYED WHILE <br />PARTICIPATING IN PROGRAM. <br />11. PreTrial Release Program Goals and Objectives Description (if applicable) <br />(Refer to CJPP Legislation as a guide to the definitions of Goals and Objectives) <br />State the GOALS of the program in terms of the long-term effect the program <br />is designed to have, and a list of measurable OBJECTIVES to meet those goals. <br />Goals <br />EXPEDITE THE RELEASE OF INMATES IN THE <br />ORANGE AND CHATHAM JAILS TO REDUCE <br />POPULATION. <br />Objectives to meet Goal <br />SCREEN POPULATION BY INTERVIEWING, <br />PERFORMING RECORD CHECKS AND <br />CONTACTING FAMILY AND EMPLOYERS TO <br />WEIGH RISK FACTORS AND FIND A SUPPORTIVE <br />NETWORK. <br />REDUCE LIKELIHOOD THAT INDIGENT SCREEN INMATE POPULATION IN ORANGE AND <br />INMATES ARE HELD IN THE JAIL PRE-TRIAL CHATHAM JAILS WITHIN 72 HOURS OF <br />SOLEY DUE TO INDIGENCY WHEN STABILITY BOOKING. <br />IS EVIDENT AND COMMUNITY RISK IS LOW. <br />PROTECT COMMUNITY FROM ADDITIONAL <br />CRIMINAL ACTIVITY BY THOSE RELEASED <br />FROM JAILS PRE-TRIAL. <br />LOOK AT CRIMINAL HISTORY. ADVISE <br />JUDICIARY OF ASSUALT CONVICTIONS. <br />MONITOR TELEPHONE REPORTING, OBTAIN <br />ORDERS FOR ARREST FOR NON-COMPLIANCE <br />IN REPORTING. <br />
