III. When aJudge/Magistrate Grants a Release to be supervised by the Pre-Trial <br />Services Program: <br />A. The Coordinator makes a third copy of the Release Order for the office <br />file. The original is provided to the court clerk, a copy is delivered to the <br />jail, and a copy is provided to the client If the client is released within an <br />hour, the Coordinator instructs the Release on conditions of Release. If _ <br />the defendant is not released, the Coordinator notifies OCAS staff, to <br />instruct the client If the client is released when staff is unavailable, the <br />jail should be asked to provide the client's copy of the Order for Release. <br />A business card instructing the client to contact the program the <br />following day should be~attached to the Order for Release. <br />B. The Coordinator reminds the release client of court dates and logs in the <br />client's calls on check in days. Often, the Coordinator accompanies the <br />client to court as a courtesy when the Coordinator has no other schedule <br />priorities that day. The Coordinator verifies the case's final resolution to <br />so that the case can be files as closed. <br />C. When a release is made to the Pre-Trial Services program by a magistrate <br />for supervision pending the outcome of the case, the Coordinator <br />_ receives information about the client from the magistrate. The magistrate <br />gives the name and case number to the Coordinator so that a case sheet <br />can be filed and a client file can be opened for that client. If the client <br />fails to follow monitoring instructions, an Order foi Arrest is delivered to <br />the Clerk of Court, Crim;nal Division by the Coordinator. <br />3~ <br />
