15 <br />to address the Notary Certification issue, and to reduce <br />the liability of Registers of Deeds; <br />52)Support legislation that, in the event county <br />regulation/inspection of body piercing establishments is <br />state-mandated, adequate state funding is included to <br />address the additional county cost, or, as an <br />alternative, counties are allowed to collect fees to <br />offset the cost of the regulation/inspection activities; <br />53)* Support amending previous legislation regarding a <br />national criminal record check for long-term care <br />employees (all persons involved in direct patient care) <br />to address conflicts related to federal privacy rules <br />(Senate Bill 41 and House Bill 176); <br />54)Support statutory clarification on the definition of <br />special care locked units (units intended to meet <br />certain requirements in order to provide special care <br />for persons with Alzheimer's disease or related <br />disorders; not simply units with a door that locks). <br />Legislative requirements have been circumvented through <br />interpretation.
