Dependent <br />premiums and county contributions will remain the same for 2011. Increases in claim payments <br />are anticipated and are expected to reduce the balance in the dental account. <br />Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance; Flexible Compensation Plan/Flexible <br />Spending Accounts; and Employee Assistance Program: <br />There is no additional budget impact. All costs are based on the number of active employees <br />or participants and will remain the same for 2011, fluctuating throughout the year due to the <br />number of covered employees. <br />Supplemental Benefits: <br />There is no financial impact to the County because the cost of these benefits is borne by the <br />employees who participate. <br />Annual Leave: <br />There is no financial impact because leave is already incorporated into annual salaries, and the <br />same amount of leave will continue to be paid at separation from Orange County. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board: <br />• Authorize the Manager to sign the Early Retiree Reinsurance Program Plan Sponsor . <br />Application and Plan Sponsor Agreement and authorize the Manager or designee to <br />carry out the program; <br />• Approve the renewal of the fully-insured health insurance plans with the NCACC at an <br />increase of 6.5%; <br />
