�� <br /> 1 Section 3.8 Commission Action Subsepuent to Public Hearing <br /> 2 <br /> 3 (a) Within 60 days following the date of the public hearing, the Commission shall � <br /> 4 prepare and submit to the Board of Commissioners a recommendation concerning the disposition <br /> 5 of the proposed ordinance. The Commission may recommend: <br /> 6 <br /> 7 �1�.- Adoption of the ordinance as proposed; ' <br /> 8 �2.-� Adoption of ordinance subject to conditions; or <br /> 9 �3.-� Denial of the ordinance. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 (b) Failure of the Commission to submit a recommendation within the required time � <br /> 12 shall be considered a favorable recommendation, without conditions. The time limit may be <br /> 13 extended upon request of the applicant. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 <br /> 16 Section 3.9 Board Action Subsequent to Public Hearin� <br /> 17 <br /> 18 (a) Upon complying with the required landmark designation procedures set forth � <br /> 19 above, the Board of Commissioners may consider the adoption and from time to time the <br /> 2 0 amendment or repeal an ordinance designating a historic landmark. The ordinance shall contain <br /> 21 a concise statement of exactly what is designated as a landmark, the name or names of the owner <br /> 2 2 or owners of the property, those elements of the property that are integral to its historical, <br /> 2 3 architectural or prehistorical value, including the land area of the property so designated, and any <br /> 2 4 other information the governing board deems necessary. For each building, structure, site, area <br /> 2 5 or object so designated as a landmark, the ordinance shall require that the waiting period set <br /> 2 6 forth in Section 5_94s1 �oa�this ordinance be observed prior to its demolition. � <br /> 27 <br /> 2 8 (b? The Board of Commissioners shall not consider enactment of a proposed � <br /> 2 9 ordinance unti160 days after the date of the public hearing or until the Commission prepares its <br /> 3 0 recommendation, whichever comes first.
