Before construction, construct a worksite perimeter curb of <br />2x4 timbers, ten feet from the house exterior. Create an outer <br />barrier of flags and/or plastic tape 3 feet on center and 20 feet <br />from the worksite. All warning signs must remain posted until <br />clearance is passed. (Front Porch Area & Dormer) <br />2. During the period of work on the exterior components, attach one <br />layer of 6-mil poly to the building exterior with furring strips, <br />extending 10 feet past the worksite. Wrap the plastic under the <br />perimeter 2x4's. Change the plastic daily. <br />Clearance Examination: <br />1. After completion of all work that disturbed LBP and any other lead <br />hazard reduction activities, a qualified person shall perform a <br />clearance examination. Work disturbing lead-based paint is not <br />considered complete until clearance is achieved. <br />Pre-Clean: <br />1. Pre-clean all interior locations containing lead paint. (Refer to <br />Risk Assessment /Lead Paint Inspection) HEPA vacuum <br />all horizontal surfaces, to include all floors, windowsills, troughs, <br />baseboards and casing. <br />ABATEMENT WORK: <br />Windows: <br />1. Remove both dormer window sashes and frames. Wrap in 6-mil <br />poly and properly dispose at landfill. <br />
