Remove the brick curtain walls from the left front steps to the <br />right side of the back door steps. (Refer to Rehab. Specialist for location) <br />Dig footings per Code for new brick curtain walls. (Refer to Specs) Install brick <br />curtain walls with matching brick.. Note: New curtain wall shall be <br />attached to the brick pier with proper straps approved by the Chapel Hill <br />Inspection Dept. All brick shall be properly laid and all joints struck. <br />Install all necessary fill dirt to landscape against wall. All soil shall <br />slope away from foundation wall. Seed and straw exposed area. <br />2. .Add eight (8) automatic foundation vents in the foundation walls. <br />The new foundation vents maybe installed in the new curtain <br />walls. <br />3. Remove and replace six (6) stone/brick piers with brick piers. Install <br />proper footings approved by the Chapel Hill Inspections Dept. <br />Install new brick piers per Code. Note: Contractor shall pull string- <br />line for proper pier height. (Refer to Specification Sheet) _ <br />4. <br />5. <br />Add eight (8) brick piers to the floor system girders. Refer to Rehab. <br />Specialist for proper location. Install footings for piers per Code. <br />Note: Contractor shall run string lines for proper pier height. <br />All work shall pass the Building Code with Chapel Hill Inspection <br />Dept. (Refer to Specification Sheet) _ <br />Install three (3) pressure treated dropped girders along the entire <br />width of the unit. Refer to Rehab. Specialist for proper location. <br />Install concrete piers approved by the Chapel Hill Inspection Dept. <br />Pier spacing shall be 78" OC. Install adjustable post jacks to support <br />a pressure treated triple 2x8 dropped girder. Note: Contractor shall run <br />string lines for proper floor height. (Refer to Specification Sheet) _ <br />6. Re-screen the front porch with black vinyl screen. Install new <br />lattice strips at all necessary locations. Prime and paint lattice <br />with semi-gloss latex paint. <br />
