Application Package <br />for 3501(ft) Self- Supporting Lattice Tower — Orange County, NC <br />Dear Mr. Bowles: <br />Enclosed for your review and processing is the Piedmont Electric Membership <br />Cooperative (PEMC) Application Package for submittal of a Special Use Permit to be <br />approved by the Board of County Commissioners. This permit seeks approval to <br />construct a 350'($) self - supporting communications tower to replace the existing 220'(ft) <br />self - supporting tower on our property at 2500 NC Hwy 86, Hillsborough, NC. <br />Alexander Utility Engineering, Inc. as an engineering consultant for PEMC, has prepared <br />this Application Package. Alexander Utility Engineering, Inc. has worked with Jackie <br />Hicks and Rusty Monroe of The Center for Municipal Solutions, the consultant for <br />Orange County, to assure that all terms and conditions of the applicable Communication <br />Tower Ordinances have been met. <br />PEMC has tendered the initial $1,000 escrow fee and is prepared to tender the remaining <br />fee as directed by Orange County. <br />PEMC is ready to begin construction and looks forward to a timely review and approval <br />of the tower application. <br />By notarized signature below, I certify that to the best of my knowledge all terms and <br />conditions of the Orange County Ordinances have been met and as particularly required <br />in Ordinance 8.8.17a.1 for notification of all adjacent landowners within 1000'(ft) of the <br />PEMC properties. <br />Sincerely yours, <br />Robin W.
