ALL INFORMATION IS CONTAINED IN THE WRITTEN <br /> NARRATIVE IN THE AGENDA WHICH IS IN THE PERMANENT AGENDA FILE IN THE CLERK'S OFFICE AND IS <br /> MADE A PART OF THESE MINUTES BY REFERENCE. <br /> A document was distributed entitled "Strategies for Protecting University Lake <br /> Watershed". Marvin Collins explained this document with the use of slides. He indicated <br /> that the topic is "Choices" . In summary Mr. Collins talked about the different options <br /> that are available in terms of protecting University Lake Watershed and then he showed how <br /> all this fits together in terms of the Land Use Plan that the three jurisdictions have <br /> jointly adopted, Orange County's Land Use Plan, its Zoning Map and its Development <br /> Standards. <br /> He emphasized the importance of University Lake and protection of its watershed. He <br /> stated it is important to the people who own property and live in that watershed, <br /> important to the students who attend the University, important to the people who visit <br /> this area and who live, work and do business in Chapel Hill and Carrboro.
