SUB-AREA CLEANUP & TERMITE TREATMENT <br />1. At entire sub-area of house, remove debris to a size small enough to be <br />raked. Fill existing hole in soil in left front area to top of surrounding <br />grade using excavation spoils from foundation and French drain work. <br />Fill area is approximately 5' x 5' x 18"deep. Supply and install 6-mil <br />plastic vapor barrier throughout entire sub-area of house so as to provide <br />moisture protection. <br />2. Chemically treat entire perimeter of house for termite and pest control. <br />Chemical treatment to be done by a licensed termite or pest control <br />company. Contractor to provide owner with written proof and warranty of <br />treatment. <br />B. FOUNDATION <br />1. Clear loose soil and debris from concrete/brick footing at front of house, <br />from left front porch curtain wall extending approximately 8 l.f. to the <br />right. Supply and install. approximately 8 l.f. of concrete underpinning <br />under existing concrete/brick footing at front of house approximately 4" <br />out from widest existing point of footing and to level with top of existing <br />concrete. Includes one #4 rebaz top and bottom. New materials to match <br />existing as close as practical. <br />2. Provide temporary support adjacent to wood column/screw jack girder <br />supports in front area of crawlspace under the house. <br />Remove 2 existing wood columns and one existing screw jack, keep screw <br />jack for re-installation. Remove existing wood girder and three wood <br />pads. Level-off soil immediately under pads and prepare these three azeas <br />for installation of new concrete block footings. Supply and install three <br />new concrete footings, each of 4 - 8" x 8" x 16" concrete block, top two <br />concrete block to be turned 90 degrees and set on two bottom block, fill <br />voids in blocks with concrete, at same locations, complete. Includes <br />treated wood block on top of each footing. <br />5 <br />
