MECHANICAL 1; Supply and install mastic sealant material to all HVAC register boots to provide weather-tight seal between boot and floor/wall, complete. Sealant to be left smooth and uniform with floor/wall surface. 2. In front attic, remove approximately 12 l.f. of damaged HVAC ducting . Supply and install approximately 12 l.f. of new insulated flexible HVAC ducting at same location, with R-6 rating, including proper connection to existing supply duct and two existing registers, complete. New materials to match existing as close as practical. 3. Supply and install galvanized metal hood over existing HVAC duct housing for ducts extending from exterior gas pack unit through foundation wall. New hood to extend under bottom edge of existing lap siding, to be removable and provide weathertight barrier. Seal transitions from new hood to existing metal housing. New materials to match existing as close practical. 4. Provide temporary support under each side of existing water heater platform to maintain proper service connections to water heater. Temporary disconnection of existing plumbing, electrical, gas or other utilities which become necessary during course of project shall be performed in an efficient, workmanlike manner so as to keep "down time" and temporary connections to a minimum. Partially remove existing temporary support under platform to accommodate excavation for new block support. Excavate under left and right front corners of platform to solid soil to accommodate installation of new solid concrete block support. Supply and install new concrete block support under left and right front corners of platform, with mortar packed between top of block and bottom of platform, complete.
