IL <br /> STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br /> COUNTY OF ORANGE <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> Whereas, the non-profit corporation, association, or organization described below has <br /> requested an appropriation from the Town of Carrboro; and <br /> Whereas, the Town has determined that said corporation, association, or organization can <br /> and will perform for and on behalf of the Town certain services that the Town itself is authorized <br /> to perform and has therefore indicated its approval of this request by an appropriation in the <br /> budget ordinance for fiscal year 2010-11, as amended; and <br /> Whereas, the Town of Carrboro desires to insure that funds will be used for the purposes <br /> intended by the Town in making this appropriation and for no other purposes; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of an appropriation in the amount of $5500, the <br /> following non-profit corporation, association, or organization, hereafter described as Grantee, <br /> agrees and promises to abide by the following conditions: <br /> 1. Grantee will perform the services or achieve the undertaking described in Attachment <br /> "A" in the manner and according to any time schedules therein provided. <br /> 2. Funds may be released monthly, quarterly, or according to o any other schedule deemed <br /> appropriate by the Town's Director of Economic and Community Development. If required by <br /> the Economic and Community Development Director, Grantee shall submit a written request for <br /> each fund distribution, and any such request shall contain a certification that the Grantee shall <br /> use the funds received only to provide the services described in Attachment"A". <br /> I Not later than March 31st of the current fiscal year or at the time of application for <br /> new funds the grantee shall account to the Town of Carrboro for the use of the funds <br /> appropriated.by the Town by (1) furnishing a detailed description, quantified to the extent <br /> practicable, of the extent to which the Grantee has performed services for or on behalf of the <br /> Town of Carrboro or its citizens during this fiscal year, and (2) providing the Town with a copy <br /> of Grantee's most recent audit, financial statement, or other financial information requested by <br /> the Town. For the recipients not requesting new funds a report shall be submitted to the Town of <br /> Carrboro furnishing a detailed description, quantified to the extent practicable, of the extent to <br /> which the grantee has performed services for or on the behalf of the Town of Carrboro or its <br /> I <br />
