9. In accordance with the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act <br />(HIPAA) of 1996, the Orange County Department of Social Services and the <br />Orange County Schools enter into a Business Associate Agreement to ensure <br />confidentiality, security, and the integrity of health information. The Agreement is <br />attached. <br />10. This Agreement shall be effective from July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007. <br />11. This Agreement shall be reviewed at least annually, prior to July 1st and may be <br />terminated by either party upon 60 days wriften notice. This contract may be <br />terminated within 30 days if sufficient funds are not available to pay the costs of <br />the positions. <br />12.
