QQ <br />1 <br />2 <br />4. <br />Within five (5) days after the hearing, the Board shall make a report containing its <br />3 <br />findings and recommendations regarding the proposed action. The report shall be <br />4 <br />made available to the public prior to its being conveyed to the decision - making body <br />5 <br />of the agency proposing the acquisition. <br />6 <br />7 <br />5. <br />There will be a period of ten (10) days allowed for public comment on the report of <br />8 <br />the Board. <br />9 <br />10 <br />6. <br />After the ten (10) day period for public comment has expired, the Board shall submit <br />11 <br />a final report containing all of its findings and recommendations regarding the <br />12 <br />proposed action to the decision making body of the agency proposing the <br />13 <br />acquisition. <br />14 <br />15 <br />7. <br />The total time period, from the day that a request for a hearing has been received to <br />16 <br />the day that a final ' report is issued to the decision making body of the agency <br />17 <br />proposing the acquisition, shall not exceed thirty (30) days. If the agency agrees to <br />18 <br />an extension, the agency and the Board shall mutually agree upon a schedule to be <br />19 <br />set forth in writing and made available to the public. <br />20 <br />21 <br />8. <br />Pursuant to N.C.G.S. §106 -740, the Board of Commissioners shall not permit any <br />22 <br />formal initiation of condemnation by local agencies while the proposed <br />23 <br />condemnation is properly before the Board. <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />ARTICLE M <br />27 <br />NOTIFICATION <br />28 <br />29 A <br />Record Notice of Proximity to Voluntary Agricultural District <br />30 <br />31 <br />1. <br />Procedure <br />32 <br />33 <br />The Orange County Land Records Department shall implement and enforce the <br />34 <br />following requirements outlined in this section. Upon certification of qualifying <br />35 <br />farmland and designation of real property as a District, the PIN History to that <br />36 <br />qualifying farmland and real property, which is contained in the Orange County <br />37 <br />Land Records System, shall be changed to include a notice reasonably calculated to <br />38 <br />alert a person researching the title of a particular tract that is located within one -half <br />39 <br />aerial mile of a qualifying farm in a Voluntary Agricultural District of the existence <br />40 <br />of a qualifying farm in a Voluntary Agricultural District. <br />41 <br />42 <br />2. <br />Limit of Liability <br />43 <br />10 <br />
