73 <br />NORTH CAROLINA GENERAL ASSEMBLY <br />AN ACT TO PREVENT HUNTING DEER WITH DOGS IN ORANGE COUNTY <br />The General Assembly enacts: <br />Section 1. It shall be unlawful to allow dogs to chase deer, or to hunt or attempt to take <br />deer with the aid of dogs at any time in Orange County. - <br />Section 2. Any person violating this provision of this act shall be guilty of a <br />misdemeanor, and shall be fined or imprisoned as provided by law. <br />Section 3. All lawful peace officers of the county and State, including wildlife <br />protectors, shall have authority to arrest for violation of Section 1 of this act. <br />Section 4. This Act shall apply to Orange County only. <br />Section 5. This Act is effective upon ratification. <br />
